Make It Easy for Yourself
The great German author Thomas Mann said, “A writer is someone for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people.”
Yep. Like running is more difficult for an Olympic sprinter than for an occasional jogger, and cooking is more difficult for a Michelin-starred chef than for a homemaker.
As writers, that's our choice.
Writing is our unique ability, so we take it seriously. We make it hard for ourselves. We want to be better at it than others, and we work to improve our art.
If you're a business author, it's worth hiring a ghostwriter to help with your book.
You hand the difficulty over to them. That way you can concentrate on what you want to say and leave them to worry about the best way to say it.
