Is It Worth Me Writing A Book?

"What benefit will I get from writing a book?"

A surprising number of clients who approach me feel that they should write a book – or have been told that they should write a book – but they don’t really know why.

It’s a fashion in business right now. If you want to raise your profile, you write a book. Sure. But there’s no point if you can’t see the ROI.

Writing a book isn't difficult if you work with an experience ghostwriter, but it’s time consuming and you have to show up and put the effort in. It's your ideas that contribute the content, not mine. It can be expensive, too, if you choose to work with someone experienced.

So you need to be able to see a direct line to benefit:
• increased sales
• increased profile
• increased invitations
• Increased investment
• increased influence

If you can’t see how your business book could deliver one or more of those, there's a chance it's the wrong time to write it.

More likely, you're thinking about writing the wrong book.

Grab a virtual coffee with me (or another ghostwriter). They’ll be able to help find out where you are, figure out your key messages, and plan the best way ahead.
