Ghostwriting Is Not a Dirty Word

It just happened to me (again). I was chatting about what I do and someone said, “So you write books for people who can't write?”

It’s a common opinion.

I told them, “That's not what I do at all.”

Many of the people whose books I ghostwrite write very well:
📚 Lawyers who write fantastic opening and closing statements
📚 Doctors who write perceptive medical reports
📚 Academics who write peer-reviewed papers
📚 Journalists who write very well in their fields
📚 Coaches who produce fantastic workshop materials

But none of them write books.

Writing a book involves lots of planning and an ability to keep a whole narrative arc in your head for months at a time. This doesn't come easily without practice.

Many people who want to write a book don't have time to master the skill.

I don’t write books for people who can’t write. I write books for people who don’t have time to write.
