Finding Your Voice
Ghostwriters like to make a joke that they make you sound like you, only more so.
We do it by continually testing the voice as we work with an author. We put together a couple of sample pages, then review them to find out what sounds like you and what doesn't. Then we do that again. And again. And as many times as it takes for you to be happy. (In truth, it's usually only one or two.)
I'm trying to discover the voice you hear in your head when you have the thoughts that are going into your book.
The main cause of frustration for many authors is that, when they try to write anything themselves, it doesn't sound like *them*. That's why many authors turn to ghostwriters in the first place
A good ghostwriter will keep going until they make your words sound exactly like they do in your head—and maybe even better.
